I have had multiple situations (ok, well only two) where after what I thought to be a positive Skype postdoc interview (in one case, two interviews), my follow-up questions/requests have been completely ignored. I've sent 2-3 follow-up emails spaced over weeks with nothing in reply. WebI’ve begun the interview process for a biomedical research postdoc in a US R1 institute. My PhD is from a different US R1, with a few solid first author pubs. This is my first postdoc interview, and it feels very wrong but I’m looking for some perspective from others.
