Webb4 dec. 2024 · Use conda environments for isolation. create a conda environment to isolate any changes pip makes. environments take up little space thanks to hard links. care should be taken to avoid running pip in the “root” environment. Recreate the environment if changes are needed. once pip has been used conda will be unaware of the changes. WebbA temporary .download file is kept in the output directory. Next time you run you-get with the same arguments, the download progress will resume from the last session. In case the file is completely downloaded (the temporary .download extension is gone), you-get will just skip the download. To enforce re-downloading, use the --force/-f option.
