This scenario is repeated several times and finally the male bird mounts the female bird and the copulation is complete. WebThe flapping is a pretty normal bird behavior, especially if he's molting. It's nothing to worry about. I've had birds most of my life, and they've all done that! And it will take a little while for your bird to adjust to his new home. You can try offering him a treat to encourage him to step up. Bribery work wonders, lol!
